In this article, I’ll be putting the spotlight on the Bug card, “Numbing Lecretion .”

As of January 2022, this card has 30 base damage, provides 30 shields, and costs 1 energy. It also disables the target’s melee cards next round if played in a combo.

How Is Numbing Lecretion Used?

This card is mainly used for defense and utility. It’s used to lock enemy Axies down and limit their moves.

It’s especially useful against Dusks, Plants, and Reptiles, because of their natural disadvantage against Bugs, but it’s most effective against teams that have lots of melee cards.

If your enemy is unlucky enough to have mostly melee attacks, they’re probably gonna have a hard time once you disable all their cards.

What Kind of Axies/Teams Use Numbing Lecretion?

Most of the Axies that use this card are utility Bugs and the Immortal Plant build. Numbing Lecretion is a great counter against Axies that rely on melee attacks.

Numbing Lecretion typically appears in a team that has the Immortal Plant, an Axie build that involves a Plant Axie that has Drain Bite, Prickly Trap, and Cleanse Scent on top of Numbing. As the name suggests, this Axie is immensely hard to kill, and they are great at putting up defenses and locking enemies down.

Disables the target’s melee cards next round when used in a combo

Relatively low damage and shields
Needs to be played in a combo
Does not work against ranged cards
