In this article, I’ll be putting the spotlight on the Bug card, “Terror Chomp.”

As of January 2022, this card has 100 base damage, provides 35 shields, and costs 1 energy. It also inflicts the Fear debuff on the enemy Axies for 2 rounds if played in a chain.

How Is Terror Chomp Used?

This card is mainly used for both offense and defense. It’s used to deal high-damage on an enemy target, as well as inflict Fear in order to prevent them from counter-attacking.

It’s especially useful against Dusks, Plants, and Reptiles, because of their natural disadvantage against Bugs, but it’s primary use is to inflict Fear and avoid damage.

What Kind of Axies/Teams Use Terror Chomp?

Most of the Axies that use this card are damage/utility Bugs. Terror Chomp is an amazing counter to teams that have a lot of combo damage, and by inflicting Fear, their damage will drastically get reduced.

Triple Bug Signal and Terror Chomp is a pretty common combination. It’s always a 50/50 when playing against them, so formulating a perfect battle plan would prove to be a challenge.

Deals great damage and provides decent shields
Inflicts Fear on the target for 2 rounds
