In this article, I’ll be putting the spotlight on the Bug card, “Mystic Rush.”

As of January 2022, this card has 35 base damage, does not provide shields, and does not cost energy. It also inflicts the Speed- debuff, slowing the target Axie.

How Is Mystic Rush Used?

This card is mainly used for both offense and defense. It’s used to deal a bit of damage while also lowering the speed of the target.

It’s especially useful against Dusks, Plants, and Reptiles, because of their natural disadvantage against Bugs, but its primary use is to slow the target down and inflict a debuff that can be used by other cards.

It’s also a zero-cost card, meaning it could be used as a filler card in combos, as well as removing certain debuffs like Stun and Fear.

What Kind of Axies/Teams Use Mystic Rush?

Most of the Axies that use this card are damage/utility Bugs and the infamous Terminator Dusk/Reptile.

Mystic Rush is an amazing counter to teams that have a lot of fast Axies. By inflicting Speed-, their Speed will drastically get reduced and potentially change the turn order.

It’s also used by Terminator Axies in order to activate Allergic Reaction’s bonus damage gained when attacking a debuffed target.
