In this article, I’ll be putting the spotlight on the Plant card, “Bamboo Shoot.”

As of December 2021, this card has 80 base damage, provides 70 shields, and costs 1 energy. It also deals an additional 20% damage when chained with another Plant card.

How Is Bamboo Shoot Used?

This card is mainly used for both offense and defense. It’s used to deal damage while simultaneously putting up shields.

It’s especially useful against Aquas, Birds, and Dawns because of their natural disadvantage against Plants.

What Kind of Axies/Teams Use Bamboo Shoot?

Most of the Axies that use this card are tanky damage Plants. Bamboo Shoot is an amazing counter to teams that have Aquas, Birds, or Dawns.

Bamboo Shoot is also great when it is paired with another Axie that has Plant cards, so it may be a good substitute card in double Plant lineups.
