We are here! Whats this you ask? Gamers in Brussels ? While the trip has little to do with gaming I am going to check out what kinda arcade or bar style games there are in Belgium and the Netherlands and get some pics up. Be sure to check out The Pub and Alleyway forums for more on our trip.

Yes ladies, and gentlemen. The reviews are coming, and they’re coming very soon.

Wicked and I discussed that Metroid Prime 3 should be the first official review of the site, but after much consideration (And an incident involving losing all my written text for the review), I have decided to make my first review not that of a triple a title such as Metroid. Instead, i’m going to review Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ treasure for Wii.

The game isn’t a high profile game, but after playing it fairly extensively, and seeing just how my thoughts of this game reflect the true thoughts of a gamer, i’m going to make this one the one to start our site out.

The review will be coming next week. Look for it very soon, it’ll be a great thing to read.

One thing to note: IGN gave this game a 9.0, so did 1-up.com; and Gamespot gave it an 8.5. Now imagine what us here at LoadedGamer will have to say about it. It may surprise you.

Another sad day for modders, MrModchips.com a UK based company was shut down when the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) tracked him down and had his home raided. It is said that Higgs made over £1 mill since 2002 when his site launched. This happens only a week or so after a big bust in China went down, arresting many in a modchip raid. While pirating may be illegal I think that modding your systems should’nt be. Sure some sales are effected from people downloading a game to try it instead of wasting money on a game that is crap and sure its illegal. To modify your system for extra features should be your choice you paid for the hardware and your breaking the warranty. Does Nissan hunt you down for adding better intake to your car? After market in most areas is a very profitable business and not always shunned by a manufacture (though probably not supported). The fact of the matter is if one person makes something some one else is going to take it apart, and for the most part want to enhance it.  If this didnt happen its most likely that nothing would improve. So this one goes out to modders and mod chip makers. KEEP ON KEEPIN ON

Ok here comes a big rant. It has been announced that the Zapper is going to be 18+ in Europe. I find this to be utter bullshit (yes cow tits+a bulls shit). You know America will follow Europe in the Mature rating. The zapper does not even look like a gun enough to get such a harsh rating. If you recall the first Zapper for the NES to come out in Japan was a revolver and it looked fuking real. While in the US we got that orange futuristic looking gun but it looked like a gun none the less. Now we get a shell that does not even really resemble a gun and its made to be adult only? It looks more like a design model of the Sega gun. Not all the zapper used games coming out will be Mature. Zelda’s bow training is a game young people will want to play no? I think the fact that Americas children dont have enough knowhow about guns or prolife is our biggest problem not the toys they play with. Violence in the media is what sells right? Kids are grown up watching more violent things on normal TV (not just cable) than most video games imo. I used to play with toy guns and bbguns when I was young, and had all the guns for my systems. Even had a 22 pistol and rifle when I got older and Im still not in the NRA.

While many of us Wii owners have fought our way through a few FPS games. Only Metriod seems to have people talking about how nice it is to shoot with a Wiimote. Not any more! Metal of Honor: Heroes 2 was announced at E3 and hyped up pretty well. Now with a few previews of the game out it sounds even more promising. Not only will this game have whats labeled to be the best fps controls on the Wii yet, they are fully customizable. This alone makes me wanna see a demo now! EA tried to give you the options in their first title for the Wii. While the system was there it didnt seem to work lol. Now they claim it does, from control of the bounding box’s sizes to the speed of your xhair, and turning. If thats not enough, it will also feature 32 player online DM/CTF modes. Whats that you say hope they dont use Friend Codes, hope has come at last cause it wont use them! The word on the street is EA nation will host the servers and not use friend codes to match make. The only thing thats left up in the air for most us “hardcore gamers” is the use of some kinda com device. While there have been talks of the wiimote having a mic built in I doubt it will use that so we can only hope for some kinda wireless headset to popup in the future. MOH: Heroes 2 will ship out Nov. 13th so lets dust off those Wii’s and tell master cheif his aim just isnt that good.

Well the lack of news is due to Smeatbass and my self deeply lost in space playing the new Metroid prime (well that and work). The game could not have been better, I finally beat it over the holiday weekend took me about 20hours to get 100% on veteran. This was no easy battle, I died at least once on every boss past the first 3. While there are a few things to help you get all your power-ups in this one, putting 20hours into a FPS game is nice. Though I find that this is more of a “First person adventure” game more than any thing it would have to be close to the best FPS single player I have played. If for any reason to own a Wii it would be to play MP3, Zelda, and RE4 together thats at least 100+ hours of game play. I only wish it had some multiplayer action. I did unlock my sreenshot tool and its a lot of fun. While I have not found away to pull the pics from the msg board to an SD card we still mite have some kinda contest where you can submit screenshots to either me or Smeatbass. Keep on keepin on.

Don’t let a good tradition die! Past E3 discarded a lot of old ways but one that should not die is the lovely girls that become booth babes! While this is not really current news its good enough for LG. Games Radar put together a Hottest Booth Babes gallery on Friday. We thought it was worthy enough for all you to load your eyes with.
